Imagine being immersed in the music of the late 50s and 60s all over again, when The Kingston Trio happened onto San Francisco’s North Beach scene to electrify the country with their rich traditional folk music sound. Some 58 years after “Tom Dooley” rose up the music charts, the Trio is still going strong. And now, they’re bringing their harmonies to the intimate Painted Table Event Center stage for a special concert, one night only, in a benefit concert for the Central Valley Honor Flight. On Thursday, March 2nd, at 6:30 pm, take a trip back down memory lane with the Kingston Trio AND enjoy a sumptuous prix fixe dinner curated by the award-winning Painted Table chefs. Get your tickets for A Night Of Celebration, presented by The Painted Table Event Center and Team Neville Concerts now, before they sell out.
You’ll be treated to live music from today’s Kingston Trio members, Mike Marvin, Tim Gorelangton, and Don Marovich, who have direct links to the original group’s members. You’ll be treated to a menu that features your choice of entrée: delectable lemon caper chicken, braised pot roast, or Cauliflower steak, and you’ll be helping the Central Valley’s Honor Flight lift off the ground for their next trips.
Since 2013, The Central Valley Honor Flight has brought some 1,500 U.S. war veterans to visit their memorial in Washington, D.C. They are flown by charter aircraft and provided with lodging, meals, and transportation, with all expenses covered. The trip for each veteran costs $1,500, and the Central Valley Honor Flight is currently working towards funding upcoming trips. Your attendance at this special Night of Celebration will bring them closer to their goals.
Come out on Thursday, March 2nd, and reminisce to the sounds of the 57-year strong Kingston Trio while enjoying a delectable Painted Table dinner, all while supporting our local veterans with honor flights to Washington, DC. Reserve your tickets today to attend this phenomenal evening at the Painted Table Event Center, conveniently located at 5080 North Blackstone Ave., in Fresno.

We’re in love with Fresno. Since 2007, when Central Valley local chefs Rodney and Jeromie Hansen teamed up to open the doors to The Painted Table Catering and Event Company, our focus has always been on serving our neighbors for any event of distinction throughout the Central Valley:
• We choose locally sourced, seasonally fresh menu items to adorn tables and to support our local farmers, fisheries, and meat producers.
• We stepped forward during the Creek Fire to prepare and serve delectable meals to volunteers, evacuees, and emergency personnel.
• And we remain committed to presenting our gorgeously elegant cuisine, while keeping your safety in mind.
We thrive on bringing our award-winning event design and exquisite menu options to our beloved locals.
Ever since 2010, when we acquired The Daily Planet in the historic Tower building in Fresno, we’ve had a headquarters where the culinary magic begins. Imagine taking a behind-the-scenes look where the event design takes shape, edible surprises are meticulously prepared, all showcased at a centrally located in-house venue. When we learned that the Tower Theatre Fresno might still be available for purchase, we stepped forward with an offer in order to preserve this special entertainment venue for generations of locals to enjoy. Read about this more here.
No waiting in long lines at restaurants and clamoring to get the best table as you did in bygone years. We are using our cherished Tower building location to stage the romantic Valentine’s dinner of that your sweetheart envisions. Your lover will swoon over our decadent baskets topped to the brim with an array of incredible appetizers, desserts, treats, and two champagne mini-bottles.

We’re honored that you’ve turned to us to help celebrate your favorite times. Now, we’re giving back to our dear community by providing meals to Creek Fire evacuees, first responders, and firefighters.
We can’t do this on our own. We still need volunteers. Join us as we actively prepare and deliver meals to evacuation centers across the Central Valley for The Red Cross. Call (559) 443-7199 to sign up and learn more.
We couldn't accomplish this feat without the numerous partnerships, donations, and volunteers throughout our community:
Our goal is to support our community in need in the only way we know how—To offer delicious meals to look forward to. We’re not just filling stomachs. We are acutely aware that we are serving flavorful meals to brighten some mighty difficult days. That’s why we put the same care and attention into the meals we are creating for our local emergency personnel and evacuees as we serve to our catering clients.
John Maylone, a Creek Fire evacuee, warmed our hearts with his kind comment:
“The uncertainties, the stress, the high drama, all faded away at dinner time. Every evening, we looked forward to the unique, elegant and tasty surprises offered to us by the Red Cross. Every meal was a pleasant surprise, and we were never disappointed. In fact, we were astounded by how great the meals were…Thank you and the Red Cross for helping us through these difficult times. My wife and I will never forget your kindness and support.”
The closeness of our Central Valley community makes us so thankful to be your neighbors. Please help us to continue to deliver delectably wholesome meals to those working on the front lines and those most affected by the fires. Call us at (559) 443-7199.
