The Painted Table is the result of the combined culinary design efforts of chefs Rodney and Jeromie Hansen. Together they forged one of the top catering companies in the Central Valley, known for wildly original menu presentations and wildly pleasing event coordination.

With culinary traditions steeped in the culture of California’s heartland, Chef Rod and Chef Jeromie started The Painted Table catering company in December of 2007. Word spread across the Central Valley, and The Painted Table continued to build their reputation. 

Chef Rod explains, “Our major milestone was in 2010 when we acquired The Daily Planet, in the historic Tower District, as our permanent physical venue location. To keep up with demand, our warehouse and office expanded in 2016, and we just hit our 10-year anniversary in December of 2017.”

Statewide, we’re particularly proud that we won the Best Catering Award by the California Restaurant Association for 2015.

Most recently, on the worldwide stage, we received the 2017 CATIE Award (Catered Arts Through Innovative Excellence Award) from the International Caterers Association. We came home with the Best Signature Caterer for a Special Event Award, where our Underground Supper Club ‘Evening at the Forestiere Underground Gardens’ was honored.”
